The OPEN HOUSE PET SANCTUARY is a no kill, no cage, dog and cat care foundation being created for the Central Oregon Coast. We are newly incorporated and are currently working on obtaining official non-profit status. OPEN stands for "Orphan Pets Enjoy Nurture." Our goal is to provide a safe, nurturing, homelike environment for orphaned pets. These pets may be orphaned intentionally through abandonment, or unintentionally through death or illness of their human companion. We will be a permanent, safe and caring place to leave your pet in trust. Besides having over 50 years of combined experience in handling and loving unwanted pets, we also have the motivation and a host of practical talents to make this dream a success. Because we are in start-up mode, we are in constant need of donations and assistance. Our current, most critical, need is property to house us. Our current facility limits the number of pets we can take in at this time. If you have ideas, such as a living trust or a long-term lease, you can contact us by email or phone 541-547-3902.
Fundraiser #1: If you would care to purchase a spot on "SPOT" (the sanctuary truck), we will place your name (or other message) in that spot to honor your donation. See article by a local newspaper.
Thank you for visiting with us and taking the time to learn about us. And please check back often as we will be updating constantly.
